2010 January 21

Plugging away on catch-up blogs; I should be done this weekend.

In the meantime, I have to do 5-10 minutes on New Year’s in America for a class next Wednesday, and my kids are really interested in hearing what kids in America do. If anybody out there knows a kid elementary school age or younger that wouldn’t mind recording a video (private, to be shown only to an audience of 15 people max, will not be put online) about their New Year’s traditions, I would really love to use it in class! I can’t promise a response from the students, but I can send goodies from Japan as a thank-you if desired. 🙂 Details in the following video:

Email tenshirei at gmail dot com to discuss contributing; for everybody’s privacy’s sake, we’ll do this through email, and Gmail is big enough to accommodate video files.

Incidentally, Mom, the sweater worked out really well. 😀
