Tour of the Apartment + Bonus Video
Over the course of the weekend, I made a little three-part tour of the apartment and spliced it into one video. I think this may be the briefest video I’ve ever narrated!
I’ve thrown a few more photos up on Flickr as well, and as a bonus, here’s a video I took at the weekly Sushi Zou gathering a couple weeks back. Shane was offered a nattou roll by Aston and decided to be brave and try it; Greg is the predominant voice in the video, as nattou roll is his favorite. Crazy Canadian.
Lexi’s birthday party on Friday was the highlight of my weekend. We went out for Kansai-style okonomiyaki, then drove down to the Bridge to Nowhere and had a bonfire on the beach, writing bad haiku to the moon that failed to show up. (Hopefully I can get a hold of someone else’s photos of the beach; I decided the night vision on my cell phone camera just wasn’t going to cut it.) On Saturday I fought against the rain to do laundry, and Sunday started out with a little eikaiwa (English conversation class) at Café Michele in the morning and then turned into Shopping and Cleaning Catchup Day. I’m all set to sit around the BoE tomorrow, and I’ve got breakfast and dinner for a while. 🙂
